Guidance for common questions, troubleshooting, and sharing feedback while using Launchpad during beta.
Troubleshooting
Refine before reporting
Most issues can be resolved by continuing the same conversation. Clarify what was wrong, provide corrective instructions, and ask Launchpad to try again.
Analysis or insights look incorrect
Ask what time range and filters were applied.
Ask how the result was calculated and request a re-run.
Verify one metric against a standard Blueshift report and compare.
Provide corrective instructions and ask Launchpad to re-run the analysis.
This usually resolves issues caused by ambiguous prompts or incorrect assumptions in the conversation.
Asset creation or updates are incorrect
Point out what is wrong and ask Launchpad to fix it in the same chat.
For assets used in active campaigns, set the access policy to Require Approval so changes are reviewed before saving.
Changes apply only after saving, just like manual edits. Previous versions remain available.
When to contact support
Contact your CSM or [email protected] if:
An incorrect change was saved and cannot be easily reversed.
Data loss or an irreversible action has impacted your work.
The agent repeatedly fails after multiple refinement attempts.
Behavior does not match what the Blueshift UI allows or displays.
When reporting, include the chat link and a short description of what you were trying to do.
Sharing in-chat feedback
After a Launchpad conversation completes, an in-chat feedback prompt may appear asking you to rate your experience. Select a rating and, optionally, describe the reason in the text field that follows.
You can also provide feedback on individual responses directly from the chat. Use the feedback action on any response to flag it as helpful or needing improvement — without waiting until the end of the session.
Feedback — including incomplete attempts and sessions where results were not what you expected — helps improve accuracy and reliability. Even a quick rating is useful.
Use Launchpad in your language
Launchpad's default language is English. It also works in most major languages, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Mandarin, Japanese, and Arabic. Chat in your preferred language, and Launchpad replies in the same language.

Frequently asked questions
Will Launchpad change my live campaigns or data?
Not unless you save the changes. Set the access policy to Require Approval so nothing goes live without your review.
Is my data secure?
Launchpad uses only your existing Blueshift account data. There is no cross-customer data sharing or model training on your data. Prompt data is not retained by third-party AI providers. For details, see the Blueshift Privacy Policy and Blueshift Trust Center.
Do I need IT or engineering to set this up?
No. Launchpad works with your current Blueshift setup. No new integrations or technical configuration required.
Can my team access Launchpad?
Yes. Access follows your existing Blueshift permissions. If a team member can edit something manually, Launchpad can draft it for them.
Can I use Launchpad on existing campaigns and templates?
Yes. Use @mentions to reference and work with existing assets directly in chat.
What is the Prompt Library?
The Prompt Library is a tab in Compass with reusable prompts, called recipes. Blueshift provides starter recipes for common tasks. Hover over a recipe and click Use this recipe to insert it into the Launchpad input bar.
Why does a recipe contain text in square brackets?
Text in square brackets, such as [campaign] or [period], is a placeholder. Replace each placeholder with your own value before you send the recipe.
What if Launchpad creates something wrong?
You review everything before it goes live. Refine it in chat, edit it manually, or discard it. Your existing approval workflows remain unchanged.
Does Launchpad remember previous conversations?
No. Each chat session starts fresh. Launchpad does not carry context from previous conversations. For complex tasks, provide relevant context at the start of each new session.
Is there a limit to chat length?
Yes. Chats have a size limit based on how much information Launchpad can handle in a single conversation. When a chat reaches that limit, it becomes read-only. Start a new chat to continue.
What are Work Units?
Work Units are Blueshift's measure of the output and value produced by Launchpad in a session. Simple data retrievals consume fewer units, while multi-step tasks — such as building segments or generating email templates — consume more. Launchpad displays the total Work Units consumed at the end of each chat session in the bottom-right corner of the chat input bar. Account Admins can view aggregate Work Unit usage from the Plan & Usage screen.
Does archiving a chat reduce my Work Unit usage?
No. Archiving a chat does not change Work Unit usage. Archived chats are still counted in your account's Work Unit totals. Archiving only helps you organize and separate finished chats from active ones.
What happens to my work when beta ends?
All assets created during beta remain in your account.
